Welcome to the SSL Live Manual
SSL Live consoles are designed to accommodate a variety of operating styles; there may be two or three methods of performing each operation and you may use what suits you best.
This flexibility allows immediate access to a wide variety of functions. For example, you might be controlling an Aux monitor send on the Quick Controls, while adjusting a reverb in the main screen, and altering the selected channel's EQ in the Control Tile!
This Help System is divided into 4 sections:
- Introduction: (This section!) An introduction to the Control Surface, Local I/O and Stageboxes as well as touchscreen controls.
- Building a Show: How to build a showfile from the very beginning, covering creating channels and buses, configuring your fader layers, routing and effects.
- Mixing: Controls and functions typically required during mixing and features to speed up your workflow.
- Settings & Extras: The Options Menu as well as System settings and Remote Surfaces.
